So much work goes into a fundraising event.  You’ve crossed every “T” and dotted every “I” and you are ready!  But hold on – there may be a process that can sabotage your event that you may not have thought of.  Guests come to support your cause and have fun.  If they have to stand in long registration lines when arriving and even longer checkout lines before they can leave, this is what the guests will remember from the event.  Registration and check-out need to be as smooth as possible for your guests.  Otherwise, they may not return next year.

With today’s modern technology, there are plenty of software options available to smooth this process out.  By having software you can enter (or this may be automated via your website) information on everyone who purchased a ticket.  Upon arrival the guests simply give their name to the registration clerk, they receive  a bid number for the auction and ar program and off they go.  Most auction software systems allow the guests to pre-swipe their credit card and they do not have to “checkout” at the end of the evening.

Prevent long lines by investing in software to shorten wait times.  This allows the last impression your guests have of your event to be a positive one.
