Bringing culinary specialists together with premium wine pairings to benefit a new charity every year, the Lake Oconee Food and Wine Festival took their extraordinary event to the next level with CKBA. Bringing in almost 50% more funding through the live auction, committee member Allison Belans said to “go ahead and put us on your schedule for next year’s date.”
In their first auction event in 2006, Marshall Christian School raised $10,000. With hopes to increase that revenue, they hired C King Benefits the following year and increased their revenue by 500%. Having worked together every year since, Marketing and Recruiting Director Pam Miller says she continually brings them back because “They go above and beyond the call of duty to make our auction a continued success year after year.”
